Joining The Himig Singers is easy! And once you're in, initially as a trainee, you get good old-fashioned choral and vocal training in a group that has won awards and plaudits not just in Davao City but also nationally and internationally. Not to mention opportunities for travel abroad, and personal growth in such areas as self-confidence, self-discipline and self-motivation.

How do you apply for membership? 

1. You need to show up at one of our rehearsals to fill up an application form. 

2. Make an appointment with any Execom member for an interview and an audition.

3. For the audition, prepare a song of your choice, one that you know by heart. 

4. Show up at the interview and audition, and give your best.

Applicants who pass the audition become trainees in The Himig Singers for a period of six months. After six months, candidate trainees are given a practical exam in order to qualify for regular membership in the group.
