It’s springtime in Canada! The sun is out, the snow is gone, and the earth is renewed after winter’s long sleep. We had a wonderful taste of Canadian spring when we drove up to Peterborough for a couple of concerts last April 12 and 13. Equally refreshing was our drive up to Uxbridge last weekend, passing scenic Lakeridge Road. The scenes bring to mind the words from an old hymn:
For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies;
Lord of all to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise!
