Being born and raised in a Christian family, and having God-fearing parents, I can truly say that I am blessed by God.
Through my parents’ leading, I was exposed and trained to attend Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and Youth Camps during my early years.
But frankly the most important thing that they ever imparted to me was the wonderful gift of knowing God – Jesus Christ – in a very personal way. They often tell me that salvation is the one thing that I could not inherit from them. That this I have to get for myself, this free gift that only Jesus Christ can offer.
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Bible truths, the willingness to trust and obey including my parents’ prayers, I received Jesus Christ in my life as my LORD and personal SAVIOR in 1996.
It has been a while since I received this free gift but I still await the day that Jesus will finally say to me, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
