Life is too short! Make the most of it. Consider each day an opportunity to please God, because who knows, today may be your last day on earth.
As a student I became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. It was not long before my discipler told me about the four spiritual laws. I accepted Jesus into my life and I experienced the joy of knowing Him! Life was beautiful. Then sometime in August of 1999 I was involved in a bad car accident. I needed to undergo two major operations because my lungs had collapsed, I had internal bleeding, and my left arm was fractured. I never thought that I could experience such a terrible and sudden accident!
But God was still in control of everything; I recovered and was healed! God has been so good in my life, in spite of how unfaithful or how sinful I sometimes am. He has always chosen to protect me and love me. The accident forced me to reflect on myself and the things that I do that are not pleasing to Him. I realized that He is the reason I can live my life to the fullest. He gave me a second chance to live!
So don’t waste your time on the things that would amount to no good; spend it wisely. Give God your top priority. Cultivate an intimate relationship with Him. Spend time alone with Him by reading His Word, praying and putting into action what His word tells you.
