Kristine A. Angsuangco "Tintin"

I was raised by parents of different religious preferences. My mother had Catholic roots while my father was already a believer. Despite my father being a believer, it was my mother who had the final say where we went to church as a family.

We were always beset by problems, which came in bundles and waves. Near desperation, my mother decided to try my father’s church.

It was August 1988, when my mother found Jesus Christ. Jesus gave her the chance to know Him deeply as her Personal Lord and Savior. Weeks passed after my mother accepted Jesus, and my siblings and I also came to the know Jesus Christ. It was my mother who shared to us and told us of the need of a Savior in our lives. At the age of eleven, in November 7, 1988, I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord.

I had a complete change of life. I can truly say my life now has meaning and purpose. As a family we continued to experience problems along the way, but the truth that Jesus would never leave us or forsake us gave me and my family the strength to go on. This once insecure person now has a new identity in Jesus. I know that I am loved unconditionally. I know that I will spend my eternity with Him who gave His very life for me.

He also equipped me and gave me talents that I can use for His glory. Through the Himig Singers, I found realization and fulfillment. Through this ministry, I know I can be used by God to tell others of Jesus love for them. They can be freed from their insecurities. Their loads will become lighter. All because Jesus is there to carry it with them.

God is indeed truly great!  I look forward to the flourishing of this ministry. God has widened my horizon. I know that I can be a worker in His vineyard too.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY, GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!
